Work.

I never did remember what I was going to post about yesterday... Oh, well...

So today I helped a friend. He's a handyman kind of person, and was re-doing a person's kitchen and putting some dry wall in this one place and things. He had already put in the cupboards and things earlier, so I put on handles and things on those. At lunch, the people ordered two pizzas. I don't know whether they thought we would eat a lot, or if they didn't think the pizzas would be that big, but there was a lot left over. Even after the 6 of us (there were two painters there too) ate all we could, there was still like a whole pizza left. So they said, "Hey, you've got a big family, why don't you take this home when you leave?" So I was like, sure. So I did. Also, we were putting in a toilet downstairs. We had to put in this 6 inch long 4 in. in diameter piece of PVC pipe in first. When we did that, it was kinda wobbly and such, so we had to take it out (which meant cutting it out, practically) and we didn't have any more PVC. So we were going back to his house, but his street was covered in two feet of water. So that didn't work. But don't worry, I don't think anyone had their houses flood over there (especially my friend, because his house was at the top of the hill the street is on) because they had these two ponds to keep the water at bay. But they over flowed onto the road, so we had to go to a Home Depot to get the PVC, along with some cement stuff to hold it in. Unfortunately, they didn't have any four inch PVC shorter than ten feet long, so we had to get a ten foot long thing of it. So that was weird/silly/pointless... Why couldn't they have just took a ten foot one and cut it into the smaller size? I have no idea... Anyways, we finished that and went home. it was fun, I guess. And it's wet out side, isn't it great?

Oh, and while we were there, we were watching some of the weather channel or something, and they were talking about hurricane Ike. it totally ripped through Texas, and I think they said like 2.6-3 million or something people didn't have electricity there. And that they wouldn't be able to get electricity back up for like two weeks. That's pretty bad.

Okay, all done now. Oh, I really haven't done much for my comic book, but that's because the pad of paper I have is too long for my bag I take to school in the morning (I have to wait for a period for Paul, long [not really] story. maybe I'll talk about it some time) But today my mom found a longer bag, so I can work on my drawing then. So that's cool. Okay, all done now for real. Oh, hey! is this like five in a row? wow, I think I'm on a roll. Okay, all done now for real for real. BYE!
