Weird Music
Today in orchestra, our director wasn't there. So we had a substitute. Apparently she left instructions for us to watch this video. It was... Violinists... Dancing... and singing in French? I really don't know. They were like, kinda runnin' around, half dancing, playing insanely fast on their fiddles, and there was this drummer guy and a bass guy and another guitar guy too (he played the Acoustic and some other kind of guitar.) And then in this one song, they sang in French. It was kinda weird. But the musicianship was really good. And they sounded really, really good, especially with them playing so fast and so high. So that was... Cool? Weird? YeahIdunno. (hey, I just made up a new word, or something: yeahIdunno. YeahIdunno.) So that was... Hey! I just said that! okay, though, really. I think I'm done now. Yup, I am. Okay. BYE!

Work, Music
So today I worked again. We put in a microwave. Then an oven and dishwasher in Chicago. I totally could've done the dishwasher by myself, but there was several unforeseen problems, so I didn't do it by myself. Oh, well... Then we looked for some tiles for a different job. It took us a while to find the store we were looking for. They didn't have quite the right tile, but I think he's gonna have someone paint it somehow. So that's good.
And we're totally playing an awesome song in orchestra. It doesn't sound great if you hear just one part, but when all of the parts are played together it sounds really cool. Kinda like a song we almost played when I was in the eighth grade... Except that one was like totally like, if you're not together, the whole song is terrible. And it was kinda hard to practice with out any of the other parts. Also, we're starting the Ninja game tomorrow. I'm assuming it starts right away in the morning. Paranoid time! Also, the person who's in charge messed up my code name or something. Regardless, on my mission slip, it was a different code name. I dunno... And yes, it did have my name on it too. Okay, well, I'm done now. I do believe I'll be posting tomorrow.

Music
Whoever invented the music score system thing was brilliant. I mean, it's super versatile, but it's still very uniform. It displays the writer's plan for the song clearly, and is easy to read. You can do a million different things with it, and it'll be still readable. Yup, it's pretty amazing. I wonder who did invent that... Maybe I should look it up. What if it wasn't even one person? what if it was a ton of people that slowly changed it into what it is now? I don't know. I should look it up. But tomorrow. I have to go to bed soon. Okay, so that's that for today. I'll write down to look up who invented the music score system. Okay, done now.

Work.
So I did more work today. We put in an oven and a microwave. I think I could put in a microwave by my self too, now. Except for the wiring. Other than that, I'm good. Then we went to his house and organized his van. It looks very nice now, but I'm not sure how long that'll last. It tends to get pretty messy back there. Also, his GPS randomly couldn't get a connection. So we took it back. We didn't have the receipt or anything, but the guy (same as last time) tried to find the warranty info, but couldn't find it. So he's like, "here." and gives us another unit, and takes the other one. He's pretty nice. So that was cool. So... that's it. I'm tired. And I'm done. So BYE!

Piano, Ninja, Alcohol burner
So today in orchestra, the director had this cellist play a song she heard him play earlier on the piano for us. It was cool. In the song he reached over and ran his fingers over the strings of the piano. It was SO cool. I can't believe no one has thought of that before (as far as I know, the song was written recently.) Then again, you can only play it on a grand piano, so I guess that's a slight disadvantage. But still...
Also, she explained the Ninja game better. So here's how it goes: (we start on Monday or Tuesday)
So when you see your target, you sneak up on them, and like, 'X' them with your hand (*thwip thwip*) on their back. Then they tell you who they were going after, so you go after that person. (also you e-mail the person in charge [it's someone in one of the other orchestras. I guess she's the 'mastermind' of the current game] and tell them that you Ninja'd so-and-so and she'll tell you who you're after also) So then slowly everyone gets eliminated, untill there's only one person left. That person wins. Yay. Bake them cookies or something. So then I guess we start again. Also, you can take your person out any where, (except the music hall way and that person's locker, for us) even out side, like in the super market or anything. So that's cool. Okay. I think that's everything. So yeah.
Then today I was doing an experiment to calibrate my thermometer. (It's .9 degrees Celsius to high, FYI) and I used an alcohol burner for part of it. It was fun. So that's that. Okay, done now.

Library, WANTED, Detectives
Sigh. It's depressing when you go to the library and get nothing. I was going to get a book, but both of the copies were out. And I put another book on hold, but I probably won't get that for like, a month, 'cuz the book just came out, like, five days ago. So that's sad... So, that brings me to my next topic:
WANTED:
A Good Book
Length: A Million Pages (Preferably)
Genre: Preferably Fantastic, but Anything is Good
Reward: My Undying Gratitude, and the Satisfaction of a Job Well Done
A Good Book
Length: A Million Pages (Preferably)
Genre: Preferably Fantastic, but Anything is Good
Reward: My Undying Gratitude, and the Satisfaction of a Job Well Done
So if you have any ideas, you should tell me. So that's that.
Now. Detectives. My favorite (fiction) detective is Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot. He's definitely the best. ever. I mean, sure, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock is pretty cool, but he strikes me as slightly more fantastic than Hercule. especially his cases. Hercule is a P.I. and who gets all of your run of the mill murders that no one can figure out. Then compiles the facts, and uses 'his little gray cells' to solve the mystery. Sherlock goes off on weird cases like "The Hound of the Baskervilles" and solves it who knows how, because it's all narrated by Dr. Watson(speaking of narrated by doctors, you should read Agatha Christie's "The Murder of Roger Akroid... Oh, wait, I've been through this). I find it a lot easier to follow Hercule's logic etc. while he's on the case. So that's my two cents... Or something. Okay, done now. So... um... BYE! (I alwas do that, don't I?)

Biking, Orchestra, Comic book
So today after 'School' (meaning at the high school) Paul left a little earlier then me (like, three minutes, I was delayed) and he took the normal route, and I took a back route. I like, REALLY booked it, and I beat him. It was awesome.
Then, tonight we had our first concert. It's kinda surprising how early they had it, but it rocked. The only bad part was that it was on a Wednesday. Sigh, no youth group... Anyways, my stand partner was kinda nervous, so I was like "Don't choke, I don't know the Heimlich maneuver!" It was pretty funny. But anyways, it was pretty sweet. We were, like amazing. and humble. (jk) no, but seriously, we were great. All the choirs sang too. There was this men group that sang about the men's part in songs. It was great. Then this other group sang about zombies... dancing. It was pretty goofy. So that was fun. Oh! and we're officially starting 'Ninja' tomorrow. That'll be fun.
So today I re-redid that mech. I gave it a better head, and gave it a cooler sword. (A Katzbalger, if you wanted to know. [That means 'cat gutter' in German, FYI]) It's pretty good. I'll try to scan it in sometime and show you. Also, this is like, my 16nth post in a row! that's pretty neat. Okay, done now. BYE!

Recipe, Orchestra, Comic book, Geometry, Work
First, I'm going to give you the recipe to an official 'Chicago Style' hot dog, because I feel like it. (and because I just ate one :D)
Ingredients:
Hot Dog
Bun (a normal one with poppy seeds. Poppy seeds are a must.)
Dill pickle spear
Tomato slices
Onion, diced
Bread and butter relish (a bright, food-colored green, if possible. [yes, it's true.])
Mustard (NO KETCHUP)
Hot peppers (I'm not sure what kind they are, but I do know that they're spicy, short, and yellow.)
Boil the hot dog. (don't grill!) Put in the bun. Put on the mustard. put on the relish. Put on the onion. put on the tomato slices. put on the hot peppers. put on the dill pickle spear. enjoy.
Note: If you fail to have any of these ingredients (and as far as I know, go out of order,) or add any ingredients, then it is NOT a 'Chicago Style' hot dog.
Okay, so now you can go enjoy one of those. They're pretty good, although I never eat the peppers, myself.
So in Orchestra, our director had us mix up the seating of everyone so there was no one of the same part by each other. (If you don't know, a string orchestra is usually arranged like this:
B Cellos Director 1st Violins
A Violas 2nd Violins
S
S
E
S
with the parts extending out. Something like that.) So me'n my stand partner, (we play 2nd) were where the first & second chair cellos would sit (if we did chairs, any ways) We had cellos behind us, and a viola to the side. It was great. It was easier to hear the other parts, but slightly harder to keep together. Then, this one time when she (the director) cut us off, some people were playing a bit after words, and she was like, "Those of you who were playing after I cut off, your E was flat." It was funny. Then, later she was like, "I'm getting lonely up here! I want to be surrounded by eyeballs!" Which was kinda funny, in a slightly morbid way. But really, people COULD look up more. And then she had us flip our music stands around and play a part with out the music. Her point was that we knew the music a lot better than we thought, but I already knew I had it pretty much memorized. Still, it was fun. Then we had cookies, because of the 'Cookie Rule', which follows: If someone forgets & leaves their possesion(s) in the orchestra room, he/she owes the entire orchestra cookies. Which is a great rule.
Today, I also revamped that one mecha I was talking about for my comic book. It looks less awkward & bird like now, but WAY cooler.
Also, today I got to do a little of my FAVORITE kind of geometry problem. It's the kind where they give you a buch of lines/triangles that are all inter-crossed, and have you figure out a bunch of angle measurements. I love doing that.
Then I went & worked. That was fun. We put in two dishwashers. I think I could probably put in an entire dishwasher by my self now. (maybe with some lifting help) Except, for maybe the wiring, I'm not completely sure how to do that. Then we loafed around for like an hour and a half because we couldn't do the next job till five. Then we took out an oven/microwave, and put in another. That wasn't too dificult, just heavy. (really. Those things are beasts.) Then we put in a microwave. That was interesting. Then he took me to a hot dog place. I didn't really know what I wanted, so he's just like, "Fine. Give the boy two hot dogs, french fries, and a pop." So they did. That's why I gave you the recipe, by the way. I think I'm going to go to bed now... I have a concert tomorow. And I've been really tired lately. Maybe I should try to find a good time to have a nap. Okay, done now. BYE!

Sleep, Biking
Yeah, so I've been kinda irritable lately. I really didn't know why. But today I figured it out. I think it's lack of sleep. I was really, really tired today. So I took a nap. Then I was less tired. yay. And this seems to be an almost pointless story. And it's fun to have no commas. And to just put a period. And start a new sentence. Is this annoying? 'cuz it's sure hard to do when your so used to not doing that. So I'll stop.
Also, I had to bike to the school again today. We had to because Dad isn't here (He went to Pennsylvania for a bunch of things) and John had his orchestra, and Molly had to go to the doctor because her ear was, like, *Insert gooshy explosion sounds* and like, *makes weird splashing out of ear gestures* So yeah. Apparently her ear was bleeding the other night. A LOT. So that's pretty bad. I have no idea what the doctor said, however. (I'm assuming she went... She and Mom were gone this morning...) Any ways, I just went of on a tangent, so back to the original subject. Biking. So I was wondering. I know how bikes are supposed to obey 'the rules of the road', but what about the stop sign on buses? I mean, cars are supposed to stop and not pass because they might run over some one, but bikes can't really do that very well. And they can stop WAY faster than cars. And they're more maneuverable than cars. But still, I don't know... But seeing as I've never had this happen, and most likely never will, I won't worry too much.
Last thing. I was watching my geometry video lecture, and he was talking about isosceles triangles, and then he's like, "Isosceles is kind of hard to spell, but here's how you can remember. I need help spelling isosceles (sos) and then, c-e-l-e-s." I thought that was kinda funny. Ok, done now. BYE!

Lots o' Stuff
Okay, first I'm going to say that my hand writing is kinda annoying. It's pretty bad, and sometimes, (like now) I can't even figure out what I wrote. Mainly because I'm doing something important at the time the thought strikes, so I quick jot it down so I don't forget. So then it's REALLY ugly. So I had something else I was going to have here, but I couldn't decipher my note... (Maybe I should just come up with a different alphabet that is easier to read...)
Okay, so I had an idea for my comic book. I think I'm going to do every little picture as one whole page, then color them on the computer and stick them together there too. It'll take longer to do, but I'll get more detail, and I can make the pictures any shape I want on the computer, so I don't have to lay out the whole page and then draw everything in all the little holes. I think it'll be better this way.
Also, I beat Super Paper Mario. Yay? I don't know. I think it's the second Mario game I've ever beaten. (New Super Mario Bros. being the other) So that's cool... or something. Yeah, I don't know, just thought I'd anounce that to the world.
In other news, we have this alarm system at our house that isn't connected to their network or whatever... But it can still be turned on in the house. Just when it goes off, the people at HQ or whatever don't know it did. So my mom accedentally turned it on last night. immediately it was screaming. It was like random sound pulses & (ampersand, heh. [sorry]) syrens going off at random intervals. it was REALLY annoying. So we had to call the people who owned the house before to get the code that turned it off. So that was interesting.
Also, today we had this Dessert Fellowship after the evening service. That was yummy. And this boy that was in the 4s&5s (ampersand again! [sorry, I really like that word...]) VBS class ran up to me and said, "YOU'RE A DINOSAUR!" and I'm like, "No I'm not, do I have horns like a dinosaur? Do I have mandibles like a dinosaur? do I have claws like a dinosaur? do I have a tail like a dinosaur?" which, of course, he said yes to all of them. So I said, "Hah! If I have a tail like a dinosaur, that means I'm a monkey, because 'If it doesn't have a tail it's not a monkey, it's an ape!'" It was great. If you don't get it, I'll explain. In the newest VeggieTales (they rock, by the way) called, 'The Wizzard of Ha's' The Silly Song is about monkeys and apes. Enter above phrase. It was great. You should go watch that VeggieTales episode now.
And... I don't know. If I could figure out what was on that note, I would post here... but, alas (cool word) I can't. So I guess I'll be going now. BYE!

John WALKING, The Hiding Place
Yeah, so John got back from the doctor yesterday and can officially WALK. Is that cool or what? Praise the Lord for that!
So last night I went to see a play of 'The Hiding Place' It was pretty good. That story is just a good story. It's sad though, to think about all those terrible things done in WWII... I think the part of the play that struck me most was this part where they were in this prison camp, and they (Corrie and her sister) were thinking of all the things they could be thankful to God for, and her sister is like "We can be thankful for the fleas," And Corrie is like "WHAT? Be thankful for these?" But then, later she tried to get a guard to come into their dormitory thing, and the guard is like, "Are you kidding? That place is crawling with fleas!" So that just showed that even the things that you think couldn't be possibly good can actually be blessings. So that was cool
Oh, and then on the way home from the play, we (Paul, me'n Molly) were all rather thirsty, and me'n Molly were talking about our favorite beverages, and Paul's like, CUT IT OUT! So then we were teasing him and going like, "Hey Paul, look, it's a RESEVOIR!" and, "Hey, look AQUATIC CENTER!" and, "Hey, do you know the funny thing about those houses over there? there're connected to the WATER lines!" It was funny. And most likely it all happened because we were all kinda tired. So that's it. BYE!

ARRRR! (ITLPD) School things, Government/Presidential campaign question
ARRR! Well, It be that time o' year again, yes, it's International Talk Like a Pirate Day! So ye better be talkin' like one, ye scurvy landlubber! If ye need some help talkin' like a pirate, ye'd best be 'eading over here! Don't forget, or I'll have teh stove yer blockhouse like a rum puncheon, keel haul ye, and then make yeh walk the plank!
In other news, I 'ad to bike ter school today, 'cause me brother needed to go to the ship's doctor to get a check up, after the misshap with the horse. That t'was intrestin'. I didn't take me fiddle, because it'd be hard ter ride with it, so I used one o' the school 'uns.
Oh, and here be one o' my favorite geomytry theorum? Postulate? I don't know, but 'ere it is! It's when yeh've got yer two lines, like this: _ \__ And ye've got the realationship with the angles
\
that them two lines make, whith the opposite angles bein' equal, and them makin' supplementary angles too! It's mighty fine, that 'n!
Also, today in me government book (I'm takin' it this year) I read something interestin' that goes with some things I heard on the radio last night. So this radio talk show guy (no idea who he was...) was talkin' about how Obama's vice president (I'm pretty sure it was him) was sayin' how people should give more money to the government, and how they'll raise taxes and give the extra money to the middle class if they get elected. So I was reading in my government book and it was talkin' about this part in the constitution (article one, section eight, to be exact): "The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defence and general welfare of the United States; . . ." And then in me government book, it said,: ". . . Let us first notice that the government is authorized to levy taxes for the general welfair. That ould be understood as a restrictive clause, aproving taxation for the binifit of all, but not for any part or portion of the populatin or peoples in the country."* And then, a few pages over it says, ". . . The phrase in the taxation clause** is restrictive instead of being a grant of power. It denies the use of taxing power for local, regional, state, or class purposes."*** So does this mean that it goes agianst the constitution to raise taxes and give extra money to the middle class? I think it might. What do you think? Well, that's my two cents, anyways. All I know for sure is that whoever becomes president, God put there, and He has a reason for it. So we really shouldn't go complaining, because that would be complaining about God.
Okay, I think I don't have anyting else to say now. so this'll be good bye to yeh, ye mangy gibbon! Now be off, before I keel haul yeh!

Paper Shredder
So yesterday we went and played 'Bigger and/or Better' with the youth group. That was pretty fun. Our team didn't do so well, however. I guess nobody had any junk they were just dying to give away. We ended up getting boxes like, four times in a row, and some people were like, here you have this, but keep that too because we don't want it. So we ended up with a box, a purse, and a basket ball. The other team (Paul was on that team) got a paper shredder. It's pretty great. The great part is though, that our Youth Pastor was like, "What am I supposed to do with this?" So I said we'd take it. So now I have a paper shredder in my room *GGGGGZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZKKKK!* Oh, and on it there's the standard 'don't put your hand in' picture warning, but right by it is one that shows a tie, instead of a hand. It's pretty funny. But how it works woudn't really shred a tie, maybe just chew it up a bit. But it would certainly pull someone into it if they were wearing the tie when it happened. So that's my story of the day. We have a paper shredder. Yay? Yeah, I dunno. Okay, done now. BYE!

Ninja game
So my Orchestra started this 'Ninja game'. Apparently the've been doing it for several years now, and it sounds fun. See, so you pick your code name, and then you'll get missions from your director. (I think she e-mails them, but I don't know) So your mission will be like: Eliminate Jane Smith.
So then, the next time you see Jane in the hall ways, you go up to her and just brush agianst her, tap her, you know, just do something to make contact with her. The she's eliminated. So you get one more elimination to your record, which is posted on the door of the Orchestra room, I believe. But the problem is, someone else might have the mission to eliminate you, so you have to be carefull in the hall ways. My director said it's a lot of fun, and instills a wonderfull sense of parnoia on everyone. It sounds pretty great. Oh, and I think if you get eliminated, you loose all of your points, but I'm not sure about that... But anyways, it sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe you should go gather up your friends, or maybe a whole class, and start playing. I'm pretty positive it's a year long game, but if you really wanted to, you could shorten it... If you must... Oh, and by the way, I lost the game. So that stinks. Now whenever I read this post, or even the title probably, I'll lose the game. Yippee! Oh, and for those of you who are reading this and don't know what 'the game' is, it's this: If you think of the game, you just lost the game. too bad. Now you have to yell it out like this, "I lost the game..." And then if someone in the room (or general vesinity of you) doesn't know what you're talking about, you tell them. And then they're playing the game too. It never ends. And you can never win. Only lose. Kinda stinks, don't it. Yeah, your right, it does. But that's how the game works, so we'll just have to go with it. Oh, and don't think of not anouncing it... or... or... or... Something will happen. I just don't know what... Okay... Done now. BYE!

Holes
Oh, hey, I think this might have been something that was going to be in the blog post I forgot...
Anyways, on... Friday, I think it was, I watched the movie Holes. It was pretty great. It also was pretty much like the book. Which made it cool. The only problem was the fact that the main character wasn't fat. In the book he was supposed to be pretty heavy, but he was actually quite skinny in the movie. Oh, well... Other than that it was great. You should go watch it. Better yet, read the book, THEN watch the movie.
Hmmm... Do I have anything else to say? ... No? Okay, then... I guess I'm done... well then.

Work, again
Yeah, so I helped my friend again. Today we took out someone's oven that wasn't working. it took us maybe ten minutes tops. It was kinda heavy, but not extremely. Then we went to another house, and drilled some holes in this sink with a hole saw. (those are the big, round, hollow drill bits, FYI) The sink didn't look very tough, but apparently that synthetic sink stuff is tougher then it looks, because it totally stripped all the teeth off the hole saw. So when we were giving the oven back to the store, we went and got another hole saw head. Those things are really expensive. Really. The 1 1/2" one we needed was ten dollars. If you needed a 6" one, that'll cost you forty dollars. They're pretty expensive. Then we went to some store to find out about returning his GPS that was broken. We didn't have the receipt or anything, and the model he has is discontinued, but they still exchanged it for another one (made by the same company). That was pretty nice of them. So that was fun. Okay, I guess that's all. Oh, except I have a locker. and seeing as I only go to the highschool for one period, I highly doubt I'll ever use it. But I have a locker. Okay, all done now. BYE!

Blender
First, however, a quote type thingy from today. So we were talking about Noah and a little before that in Sunday School. And the chapter before stuff about Noah, it's a genealogy of Adam to Noah. So we were getting kinda off subject and talking about the aging of everybody then, and how old they all were, and then someone said, "Hey you know how your nose and ears never stop growing..." It was pretty much hilarious.
Okay, now to the blender. So yesterday our nice blender broke. Which is sad, 'cuz we used it all the time. (milkshakes anyone?) The little gear thing on the base that makes the blades in the cup broke off. But it's really sad, because the blender has a great story behind it. So my dad bought it at a Good Will or something for five bucks a while ago. But then it had this leaking problem. So he went on the internet, and found out they had a recall on that model of blender! So he called them, and they sent him a new one, that didn't leak. So I guess we threw the old one away, because you never suspect the base to break, right? But it did. But apperantly people have been complaining about that gear breaking, so maybe they'll have a recall on that too... You never know! Okay, that's my story(s) for today. BYE!

Work.
I never did remember what I was going to post about yesterday... Oh, well...
So today I helped a friend. He's a handyman kind of person, and was re-doing a person's kitchen and putting some dry wall in this one place and things. He had already put in the cupboards and things earlier, so I put on handles and things on those. At lunch, the people ordered two pizzas. I don't know whether they thought we would eat a lot, or if they didn't think the pizzas would be that big, but there was a lot left over. Even after the 6 of us (there were two painters there too) ate all we could, there was still like a whole pizza left. So they said, "Hey, you've got a big family, why don't you take this home when you leave?" So I was like, sure. So I did. Also, we were putting in a toilet downstairs. We had to put in this 6 inch long 4 in. in diameter piece of PVC pipe in first. When we did that, it was kinda wobbly and such, so we had to take it out (which meant cutting it out, practically) and we didn't have any more PVC. So we were going back to his house, but his street was covered in two feet of water. So that didn't work. But don't worry, I don't think anyone had their houses flood over there (especially my friend, because his house was at the top of the hill the street is on) because they had these two ponds to keep the water at bay. But they over flowed onto the road, so we had to go to a Home Depot to get the PVC, along with some cement stuff to hold it in. Unfortunately, they didn't have any four inch PVC shorter than ten feet long, so we had to get a ten foot long thing of it. So that was weird/silly/pointless... Why couldn't they have just took a ten foot one and cut it into the smaller size? I have no idea... Anyways, we finished that and went home. it was fun, I guess. And it's wet out side, isn't it great?
Oh, and while we were there, we were watching some of the weather channel or something, and they were talking about hurricane Ike. it totally ripped through Texas, and I think they said like 2.6-3 million or something people didn't have electricity there. And that they wouldn't be able to get electricity back up for like two weeks. That's pretty bad.
Okay, all done now. Oh, I really haven't done much for my comic book, but that's because the pad of paper I have is too long for my bag I take to school in the morning (I have to wait for a period for Paul, long [not really] story. maybe I'll talk about it some time) But today my mom found a longer bag, so I can work on my drawing then. So that's cool. Okay, all done now for real. Oh, hey! is this like five in a row? wow, I think I'm on a roll. Okay, all done now for real for real. BYE!

Drat. I can't remember what I was going to post about... oh, well, maybe I'll remember later. And hopefully remember to write it down. So I guess this is a post about absolutely nothing, isn't that great? Well, if I remember what I was going to say, I'll post it in here. BYE!

Biking and comic book
All right, well first off, I biked to our library today. It was fun. I have no idea how far away it was, but it took us a half-hour to get there. I checked out the movie 'Holes'. I haven't seen it, but the book rocks (you should read it, it's really cool!), so I hope the movie is good too.
In other news, I've drawn a robot I think is going to be in my comic book. It's kinda weird and bird like, and is all lanky and slightly awkward looking. It's great. I think it might be the hero of the story's mech. Well, I guess that's all... Hmmmm, kinda short post. oh, well, I don't really have anything else to add, so I guess that's the end. Oh, and what is this, three days in a row? wow. Okay, done now for real. BYE!

Random stuff
First, here's some quotes I thought were funny
"Some people insist that dragons look like flying lizards or dinosaurs. These people have no imagination. Avoid them." ~Ben Caldwell
"If your knees aren't green by the end of the day, you ought to seriously re-examine your life." ~Calvin
"You don't get to be Mom if you can't fix everything just right." ~Calvin
Okay, those are my quotes. If you couldn't tell, that's Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes, which is a great comic.
Okay. So in Geometry I was learning about inductive and deductive reasoning, and the teacher guy (I have this video lesson thingy) had this great story:
So a scientist takes a frog, tells it to jump, and the frog jumps 27 feet. So he writes that down, cuts off one of the frog's legs, and tells it to jump again. This time the frog only jumps 23 feet. So he writes that down, and then cuts another leg off, and tells the frog to jump. this time the frog jumps 16 feet. So he writes that down, and then cuts the second to last leg off and tells the frog to jump. The frog only jumps 6 feet, and he writes that down also. Then he cuts off the last leg, and says, "Jump froggy, jump!" but the frog just sits there. So he says it again, "Jump froggy, jump!" But the frog is still just sitting there. So the scientist deduces that if you cut off all of a frogs legs, he goes deaf.
I thought that was a pretty great story, and it illustrates inductive reasoning pretty well.
Well, I guess that's all for now, so bye!

Comic book
Well, it's the near future again, so I'll get postin!
So, I had a random idea, not unlike my random idea about paintin' a mural. I decided I should draw a comic book. It should be pretty fun, but also a lot of work. I think I'll draw it all out, then color it all on the computer. Unless I can figure out how to eliminate all paper texture and whatnot, the coloring will most likely take longer, because I won't be able to whip out the Gimp's (or photo shop, depending on which computer I use...) trusty paint can and do the base colors.
*bam bam bam!*
Like that. But still, it's gonna be fun. And then I won't be bored-ish all day. Okay, that's all for today, I'll try to put in another post tommorow. Ta-ta for now! (as Tigger would say)

More stuff
*checks watch*
Oh, what do you know, it's some time in the near future! well, time to get crackin' on the blog post then!
All right, what'll I do today? *checks notebook* ... Oh, my, I have a lot of stuff, don't I. Well, I won't do it all now, so I'll just do...
*insert dramatic opening music*
MOVING THINGS!
*music fades*
All right, hold on to your wigs and keys, here we go! (such a great expression, no?)
Okay, so we moved on 8/21/08. So, we were packing all that week, but... Not fast enough, evidently. Because we were still packing that day. So while everyone else was doing that, though, Dad'n I went to where we're moving, to help take out the last of the person who lived there before's furniture. And man, he had a lot. And most of it was solid wood. So that was fun. Don't wory, plenty of people from church helped. One of them rocks, and apperently does this kinda stuff all the time, so he knew just what to do. So that helped. Oh, yeah, before we did that though, we dropped off all of the little kid's at friend's houses, so that was nice. Then we had to kill some time before everyone came to unload the (new) house, so we found this doughnut shop called, get this, Spunky Dunkers. Isn't that the greatest name EVER? I sure think so. Anyways, they have really good doughtnuts. And they were nice and fresh, too. So that was yummy. then we unloaded stuffs, untill... fiveish, I think. I don't really remember, but it was somewhere 'round there. I think everyone under-estimated how much stuff there was, and the guy had to get an extra truck to fit all of the stuff. So then we wen't to our Aunt's house, unloaded stuff, and went back. Oh, yeah, and while we were unloading the new house, our grandparents showed up to help us move, so that was cool. Anyways, we worked till like who knows how late, then we went to bed in a house full of boxes. Happy! Oh, yeah, so the people who lived here before had some fish, which the left here. And the tank was on the floor. with the food right by it. enter Ben. enter onimous music.
So, Ben apperently decided the fish were bored. So he gave them some Duplos to play with. *plop!* *plop!*
Then I guess he thought the were hungry.
*DUMPDUMPDUMP!*
Mmmmm... half a tube of fish food!
That was... fun. So Grandma and I fixed that up. So then in the next couple of days... I have no idea how long, wasn't counting, we unloaded most of the boxes, unloaded the POD (lots of fun 'new' toys) and Grandpa made a tri-bunk for the li'll kids. I think we're gonna make another eventually. So now we're mostly moved in. Happy!
Okay, that's done for now. expect more posts in the near future again. BYE!

BYE!

Stuff...
Okay, so first, thanks for all of your prayers! We had a good move, and everything is mostly unpacked.
I s'pose your wondering why I haven't posted, and that's cuz... well, I don't really have a reason besides the fact that I had no access to internet till Friday, and that was at the library... (which ROCKS! by the way.)
Okay. So... Yeah. I have a ton of stuff to post about, but I don't feel up to doing that... So. Well. This new-fangled internet stuff is weird when you've had no access for a week. I feel... excomunicated or something. It's a weird feeling. I hope it goes away soon. Oh, and I startede school yesterday. And I've been doing Orchestra... for a little longer than a week. They (the highschool) started earlier, but we didn't have time for that stuff then. So now I wake up at six twenty to leave in time. It's great! ok. done for now. expect posts in the near future. BYE!
