Ninja, trickertreating

So today I got ninja'd. Personally, I don't think I got ninja'd, but what ever. Now I don't have to be paranoid. Cuz see, what happened, is the guy walked up in front of me (more like he popped out of the music hall where he was wating for me, and stared at me, waiting for me to get closer) And then when I got close enough, he ran around me and 'ninja'd' me. I really don't think it counted. But like I said, meh.

Also, it was holoween today. I don't believe in holoween. But I do believe in candy. So I went with my little brothers, dressed up as a monster hunter/undead slayer. (Camo coat, orange bandanna, three nerf guns, a light saber. Oh yeah, totally ready.) I didn't take any candy unless the people were like, "Here, you MUST take it." (not really. That was quite an exageration, there) or they had big chocolate bars. I like big chocolate bars. In the end though, I only kept the big chocolate bars, (two. count 'em, two. [except that doesn't work. How it's SUPOSED to go is like this, "Uh, guys? He's got one leg. Count 'em, one." Yeah, Muppets rock.]) and the rest went with all the candy. So now we're pretty stocked up in candy. Hip. Gnarly. Groovy. Also, we gave out candy, of course. That was... fun? Yeah, I dunno. I wasn't the only one my age trickertreating, (I decided to spell it that way, just 'cuz) though. I saw a couple people that looked older then me, and a couple that probly were freshmen. (except they were girls... So freshgirls? I dunno...)

So that was fun. And that's it for now. I'll probly have more stuff about this week and such tomorrows. So that's it. Ta-ta for now! (Tigger is great, no?)

Post... Of nothing?

I'm not in a writing and/or creative mood right now. Other wise I'd give you a nice long post. So maybe tomorrow I'll be in a creative mood, and tell you stuff. So until then, G'bye!

Weekend recap

(the cap is the 'wishing cap' from 'The Minish Cap', FYI)

Ok. So this week end starts on wednesday. hmmm, pretty long weekend, donchathink?
So on wednesday we had a ridiculous schedule that I half knew about. But I forgot to check it out completely. So basically I wasted two hours in the morning, then went back later for orchestra. Also our Grandma and Grandpa came. They brought the other bunk that they built, and a bunch of furniture (it was all in boxes and stuffs). Then the next day we watched a DVD because our director was doing something for some audition thingy. I think she was just revewing all the information or something, because she was there. just back in her office. Anyways, I helped set up the DVD. Then we watched it. It was Yo-Yo Ma (he's a cellist, if you didn't know.) and some guy named Mark something (he plays violin) and Edgar something (he plays bass [the string kind]) So they played folk song style music, and most of what we watched was writen by the Mark dude. In the middle, our director suddenly appeared and began commenting on the way they were playing. it was like, "Woa, where'd you come from?"
Then on Friday we got new music. I play first violin for two of them. So I guess in the middle of the concert we'll swich around seating or something.
Then that night, we went to a corn maze. Apperently it's the biggest in the world. I knew it was gonna be cold, so I wore two sweatshirts (one hooded, one not,) a jacket, yarn gloves, and a head band. I was nice and toasty. Our team got second place, and got 21 out of the 24 checkpoints. (I'll explain that in a sec) the team that got first got all of them, and the team that got last got all but one. So the checkpoints. It was a big maze about the election, so it had a donkey and an elephant and such, and throughout the maze there were little check points that you had to find, and then use them to hole punch your card. (they all had different shapes, so they could tell if you cheated) if you got at least 20, you got a certificate that said you completed the maze. hurrah. It was realy fun. Then after that we had a 'bonfire' it was really small, but whatever. I totally perfected my marshmallow 'cooking' teqnique. So at first my marshmallows were cooling off way to fast, so I would blow them out right before I put them on the crackers. (yeah, I catch mine on fire. only way to do it, man!) but then the inside was still cold, and sometimes not even gooey! So then I stuck one in and left it there untill it was bursting out of its charred shell. That put a stop to non-gooey centers. The only problem is that they wouldn't be on fire at that stage. So they were kinda cold. It'd probably work better in warmer weather.
Then on Saturday, we went to the Mus. of Sci. and Ind. (did you know it takes forever to type the museum of science and industries? It's true. See, I was trying to do it fast, so I forgot to capitilize!) with our Grandparents. that was fun, even though I've seen all of their permanent exhibits now, I'm pretty sure. We also saw an Omnimax movie, because we get 'em free with our membership. (Omnimax is an Imax except with a curved screen. At least that's why I think they call it Omnimax...) it was about sardines and stuff. It was pretty cool. They showed this one part with a bunch of fish eating the sardines, (including sharks with LAMPREYS on them!) and there were these birds that would dive bomb into the water and then swim around eating sardines. it was SO cool. Also, at the begining, they were showing these shoreline cliffs, and at first I wondered why, but then I realized. Woa, with how the move the cammera and things here, it makes it feel like you're actualy going underwater and stuffs. it was a pretty sweet illusion, but it's also kinda hard to explain, and I'm probably doing a really bad job of it. I'll just say it was cool. Then that night we had a 70s dinner. that was fun. Everyone dressed up in goofy clothes and stuff. the food was really, really, really good. That was fun.
Then on Sunday night, we had a youth talent night thingy. That was fun. We did a skit. it was funny. And that recaps the 'weekend' So that's it. Done. Finished. Kaput (which is a funny word, by the way) El Fin. The end. BYE!

Bestiary, Dihidrogen Monoxide Bottle

Today in work I did... Hang on, I'll go get the bestiary entry. Right-o, here it is. *ahem*

"One of the most ferocious beasts in our land, these hulking monsters are a little shorter then the man, and can way up to twice the weight of an average man. Their enormous weight and awkward size can make them difficult to eradicate, especially with the older ones. This is definitely one of the most dangerous creatures around, and should only be approached with the right equipment."

That was taken from the horrible "Double Oven" by far the evilest creature ever. Good thing we had the right equipment. We rented the perfect tool for eradication and installation, a nifty lift-o-tron-a-ma-jig. So that was good.

So I had this plastic water bottle, right? And I had some pliers, right? Heh, that was fun. I totally crushed the top, but when it was half-way crushed, I ripped the lid off, twisted it into a twisted pulp, and pushed it in. Then I totally crushed it closed. Oh, and all of that was after I tried to shoot the cap off and failed. So you can imagine how destoyed it was. It was great.

Also, that 'bestiary entry' was fun to do. I should do that more often. Oh! I almost forgot. Today I got my first tip. Ever. The people we were doing a microwave for (I did one o' them too) gave me five dolars. It was like, "Woa... Thanks!" So that was neat-o-riffic. Nay, gnarly. Yeah, definetly gnarly. ('Nay' is such a great word.) So that's it. Done. Finished. Kaput. El fin.

Adventure Quest Worlds, Work

So today Adventure Quest Worlds, Artix Entertainment's newest game, and an MMO, (massively multiplayer online) came out. And it rocks! It also has a two-letter domain name. That's pretty cool. I mean, www.aq.com. How many two letter domain names are there out there? probably not very many. That's cool. So you should go play it or something. If you see someone named 'Scurvy' That'd be me. Scurvy is a funny name. So that's cool.

Also, I did some work today. We put in an oven and cooktop. While we were doing this, I suddenly realised I really dislike the tape they use when packing apliances. I don't even have a reason too. I just do. It's SO wierd. Then we went to his house and worked on cleaning up his drive way a bit for the party he's having tomorow. That'll be fun, I think. So that's cool. And... Nothing more for now. Done. Zilch. Nadda. BYE! (lol, that was funny for no apperent reason.)

Water, Youth Group

Yeah. So I just discovered something weird. I drink water a ton more when it's available in a relatively cold temperature (zero degrees celsius... yum... Bye the way, did you know that water is zero degrees celsius no matter the ratio between ice and water? It's true.) So now that we live in a house that has a refrigerator that has an ice/water dispenser, I drink water more frequently. It's weird.

So in youth group tonight, we split off into Sr.. high/Jr.. high, and the senior high were talking about the future/why-the-youth-group-is-falling-apart-ish of our youth group. It kinda reminded me of some of our worse planning meetings at CBC, to give you an idea of what it was like. But better. So we talked about a lot of things, and how we could maybe make the youth group better and things. Then he said if they REALLY wanted to, we would... split it into Sr.. high/Jr.. high on Wednesdays. GASP! That made me sad. So pray that it wouldn't come to that, and that we could just work hard and get everything nice and happy again. I could say a lot more on this, but no matter how hard I could try, it would sound like I was blaming everyone else. And I don't want to sound like that, because it's my problem too. So just pray that everyone would make wise decisions, and just want to work at making the youth group some where where they would want to be. Thanks!

Faith Fest, Pastor's message

Yeah, so Faith Fest ROCKED! With that said, I'll give you a quick schedule (I pronounced that right there as shedule, just for goofiness, FYI)

So we left at 16.00 hrs Friday. Drove. Drove. Drove. Drove. Stopped for "supper" at McDonald's(we had some chips and things in the van, no one was really hungry. I had a milkshake and fries. *dips the fries in milkshake*) Drove. Drove. Got there (my old church) at 23.00-ish. Met Andy. Gave him some of his games, a package that for whatever reason got sent to our house, cookies, and some letters for friends. Then we played carpetball with him. Fun! Then he left around... oh, I dunno, maybe 23.45 hrs then we went to bed at 00.00 hrs.

06.45-ish hrs. I woke up because Paul got up. That always happens. Even though he was on the other side of the room. went to bed again.
07.00 woke up 'round here. Got up. Gave Matt the not-so-grand grand tour of my old church. Then we ate. Then I took a shower. Then peoples slowly came trickling in from our old youth group. That was fun. Then we left for Faith Fest.
Got there at... I don't know when. maybe 09.00 hours. I have no idea. probably somewhere around there. Then we played and had fun till 17.00 hrs, had the closing/award ceremony, then we left at 18.00 hrs-ish. Then we got Jimmy John's and went off towards home. I slept like, the whole way, even though some people were so tired they were goin' crazy. It was great. We got to church at 23.30 hrs, and then dropped off some other peoples that came, then went to bed. So I went to bed today. That was great. And then woke up at 07.00 hrs. Okay, now I'll tell you about the messages!

They said that they would put the speaker's messages on their website soon, so then you can listen to them your self, but 'till then you can go with what I tell you, or something. (I'm totally downloadin' them, and maybe even putting them on here too. That's how good he was.) So for the morning message he did like a testimony kind of thing, with lots of stories and things and clearly put forth the Gospel. I think like four of my friend's  friends got saved. Praise the Lord! So then in the afternoon one, he was talking about a lot of stuff, but a lot of it was kinda about how Christians tend to look on things, and how they should look at things. He was talking about how like, how a lot of times people will be like "The devil's working in the church!" But then he was like,  "So what? God is working too, and that's way better!" So that was really interesting, and just made me want to not have an out look like the first one, but more like the latter. He also talked about some speaker who was like, "Remember, when you go home, the devil is going home with you too. He's gonna try and stop you from reading your Bible, he's gonna try and keep you from praying..." But then he was like, "But I say, Remember, God's gonna go home with you. He's gonna make you read your Bible, He's gonna make you pray!"
Then today, in the Pastor's message, (morning) He was talking about the faithfulness of God, and I just though it was the perfect follow up to what the speaker at Faith Fest was talking about. Talk about God working! So that was totally gnarly. (yeah, gnarly.) And I think that's it. So I'll go to bed now. 'Cuz I need the sleep. So I'm done now. Oh, but if I don't post his messages, I'll totally give you the link to where you can download them. Okay, done for real now. BYE!

Guitar, RoH, Faith Fest

So today (like five minutes ago, really) I was messing with my dad's guitar and learned some chords. That was fun. So that's cool. Also, RoH is having problems or something. half the little forum things are empty. completely gone. And if that's weird enough, I can't read several of the topics, and I lost a bunch of messages with one of my characters. SO WEIRD. Maybe I should check my last character and see if I can see things with him... I dunno. it's really wierd. (yeah, it's so weird I misspelled weird.) Okay, well done now. Oh, no, wait, I'm not done yet. We're leavin' for Faith Fest today. and we're totally staying at my old church. So cool! So that's neat-o-riffic. But it also means I'll miss a day posting. So there goes my super long combo. Oh, well, it's not that bad, it's just a post. Okay, then really done now.

Fish Tank

So this was blank. But not it's not.

So I cleaned our fish tank. It took an hour. The little things that go in the bottom were all covered in algae or something. Then I put new water in it, put the little drops (to make it okay for fishies) put the fishies in and then put the lid on and turned on the lid's lights. Then I saw that the water was foggy. It made me mad. Really mad. But I'm not sure how to fix it... Sigh... And seeing as we've never had fish before, no one else knows either. Maybe I should ask Jerms. He probably knows. Okay, well this post is done now. BYE!

...Nothing?

Right. I really don't have anything to post about... Comic book? Still in 'development' weird things happening today? Not really. Things happening later this... Oh, yeah. I'm goin' to FBBC's Faith Fest. That'll be fun. Other than that, nothing. Oh, except I think I'm actually gonna learn the guitar. I've wanted to for a bit, (especially because we really need someone in the youth group that's actually willing to play while we sing...) But we've (Dad and me) have never really gotten around to it. He says we'll start tomorrow. So that's cool. So other than that, nothing. Zilch. Nadda. A goose egg. Zip. Zero. Woa, lots of these start with 'Z's... Okay, done now. For real. No, really. I'm done.

... Why are you still reading this? I said I was done!

........ Wait.... You're only reading this because I'm writing it....
Seth, stop.
Okay, fine... I'll stop...

Okay, really, really done now.
