GARBC and TFC

Yeah, so this week was TFC and GARBC. So what I did was pack on Saturday, go to church on Sunday, then left right after the service... except I didn't. Because see, we (our youth group) planned this thing where we would go out to eat to celebrate the seniors graduating, but on the first date, nobody could come, so it was going to be on Sunday. But then after the service everybody was like, "oh, yeah, I forgot, I can't go, sorry..." so it ended up being me, Paul, Molly, our Youth Pastor, one of the seniors, and her older sister. it was great. we went to Portillos (Paul: "Portillos... sounds like Stiletto...") and I had a chili dog. it was good. then we left. it was me, Paul, and Molly in the back, the my dad and a photographer for RBP in the front. it was rather cramped. Then we got there Sunday evening, checked in to a hotel, and ate at a mexican place. it was pretty good. then we (Paul, me, and Molly, Dad and the photographer went to take pictures) so then I went and swam with Molly, then we just lazed in our room. Then on Monday, we loafed around, swam a bit... and loafed more. then on Tuesday we loafed for a while, then went to FBBC to wait for everybody we know to get there. but, they didn't get there for awhile... and I didn't bring anything do do... I probably would have died of boredom if I didn't have my pocket knife, which I used to carve wood... I made a "catapult" it was pretty great. then on Wednesday we went and saw TFC group competition. the skits (all from CBC) were pretty funny. then on Thursday they anounced the group winners, and CBC won both second and first in drama. (I wonder why...) it was also the TFC solo competition. Paul did writing, and I watched a bunch of people do things, and there was this one tuba player that was really good. I also watched all the violin peoples, and that was cool. I especially liked the songs Daniel played. On Friday, we got to see who won in TFC solo, and Daniel got second, and Paul got first (w00t!) then we got to go to Ames, and had a party at Jeremy's house. we played SoulCaliber for the dreamcast, and it was cool. then we went to the Lighthouse and I played DDR while Paul and Jerms played more SoulCaliber. then we went home. we got home at like 3:30 am. it was great. so that was my week. it was great.
Oh, and my birthday is now so close I can smell it... and it smells like zucchini! lol, jk, it doesn't. but anyways, I'm done posting now, so bye!

Prince Caspian

Yeah, so I went and saw Prince Caspian last night. Dad, Paul, me, Molly, John, Nate, and Luke all went, and it was pretty fun. before I rant about the movie, I'm gonna rant about the theater we saw it in, 'cuz it was cool. So basically it was this old theater that was turned into a movie theater, and it also had one of those awesome old pipe organs, so that was sweet. So there was this guy playing the organ before the movie played. That was a neat theater. Okay, movie rantin' time!
So the movie was pretty much amazing. it wasn't as accurate as the first one, which was super accurate, but it was still awesome. oh, and Reepicheep rocked, so that definitely made it supercool (yes, that is one word, what are you going to do about it? =D) so to sum up the night I'll give you these two quotes. Molly: "REEPICHEEP!" Nate: "GUNS AND BAD GUYS!" yup. that's it summed up. lol okay I'm done now.

'nother quote here!
"ANIMAATION!!!" "COODING!" -Dim & Tom, the Super Flash Bros, in James the Pirate Zebra

Hard Work.

Yup, hard work. today we emptied our Aunt's garage of like all of our stuff and took it to a storage unit. the loading wasn't too bad... but then when we got there there was a sign on the office door that said "be back at:" then a clock that said noon. so we waited for like fifteen minutes, then it was noon, no person. then we waited 20 more minutes, still no person. so we went and ate lunch. then when we got back, the sign said "be back at: 1:30" so then we drove around, went to a thrift store, then went back. THEN the sign said be back at 2:55! but then there was the person who saw Dad knocking on the door and said she was the 'On Sight Manager', and lived in an apartment right by the place, but didn't work on Saturdays, but she let Dad in. then she called the guy who was supposed to be there, and he said "oh, yeah I was there the entire time." but then Dad said, "check the answering machine, I left two messages." then the on sight manager helped us. then we unloaded. it was hot. it was hard work. it was EXHAUSTING. then we finished, got some ice cream and water, and went home. it was great... NOT. please excuse me while I faint. *CLUMP!* okay, all better now. oh, yeah, I think I'm going to go see Prince Caspian tonight. that'll be pretty interesting, but also possibly disappointing, as apparently the killed it. but oh well. okay, done rambling now, post to you later!

Tetanus shot

Yeah, I just got my tetanus shot. that was... interesting. so we got there. then Mom had to fill out a form or two. then we waited. then we waited a bit more, then I went into a room. then the doctor came, asked some questions, and left. then they needed my shot record, and Mom left that in the van... then the doctor said I should get another shot too. So that was fun. Then another doctor said I should get ANOTHER shot too. So then the left, and I waited. and waited. and waited. THEN finally I could be 'shot' and then we left. the whole thing took like two hours. really, it could have been done in like, 15 minutes... so that was my story of today. so bye!
