Library, WANTED, Detectives

Sigh. It's depressing when you go to the library and get nothing. I was going to get a book, but both of the copies were out. And I put another book on hold, but I probably won't get that for like, a month, 'cuz the book just came out, like, five days ago. So that's sad... So, that brings me to my next topic:

WANTED:
A Good Book
Length: A Million Pages (Preferably)
Genre: Preferably Fantastic, but Anything is Good
Reward: My Undying Gratitude, and the Satisfaction of a Job Well Done

So if you have any ideas, you should tell me. So that's that.

Now. Detectives. My favorite (fiction) detective is Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot. He's definitely the best. ever.
I mean, sure, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock is pretty cool, but he strikes me as slightly more fantastic than Hercule. especially his cases. Hercule is a P.I. and who gets all of your run of the mill murders that no one can figure out. Then compiles the facts, and uses 'his little gray cells' to solve the mystery. Sherlock goes off on weird cases like "The Hound of the Baskervilles" and solves it who knows how, because it's all narrated by Dr. Watson(speaking of narrated by doctors, you should read Agatha Christie's "The Murder of Roger Akroid... Oh, wait, I've been through this). I find it a lot easier to follow Hercule's logic etc. while he's on the case. So that's my two cents... Or something. Okay, done now. So... um... BYE! (I alwas do that, don't I?)

What book did you put on hold? Is that Eldest book or whatever out? Even though if it is, you should already know how it ends... *cough* starwars *cough*
