Hey! Long time no write, huh? I'd better get re-acquainted. Hi blog, how are you? Good? Good. I'm pretty good myself. Yeah, I know, I haven't posted in a while. Naw, I'm not sure why. Yeah, probably just laziness. Maybe I lack initiative. I dunno...
Okay! enough. Let's get crackin'!
So on Tuesday, I went to see Barrage (you know, that music group I was talkin' bout once... The singin' in French and dancin' one. Yeah, that one) live. It. Was. Amazing. Really. Totally. If you ever get the oportunity to go, go. They are amazing. Really. They were just like the movie I saw, but thr3e times better (but they didn't sing in French this time. Oh, and that 'thr3e' reminds me that I need to read that book. I was gonna get it out, but they couldn't find it yesterday...). So anyways. At the intermission I bought their CD. Then at the end, I got it signe by all eight of them! (five violinists, one bass, one guitarist, one drummer) It is SO cool! Totally. So that's my first 'Score!'
My second is I totally 'Score!'ed The Unauthorized Autobiography of Lemony Snicket. But no one can know. So you must forget this imediatly. Now. Forget it. Instead, you will read that I totally 'Score!'ed the first book in the 'Luckiest Kids in the World' series, 'The Pony Party!'
So yesterday I started making a PaperCraft PaperRobot, that's going to be a cello. That turns into a robot. My first prototype is going a long well. If all of my testing works, I might be able to move on to an almost finished version right after, which is neat-o-riffic.
Note: The first link takes you to my favorite PaperCraft website, and the second takes you to the totally rad PaperRobot site. I've probably sent these links before, but what ever, they are totally awesome (if you're into that sort of thing).
Andy came home yesterday. Or, rather, today, but at a ludicrous (I love that word) hour. So that's hip. Oh, and last night, I watched National Treasure 2. it was pretty cool.
Then today I worked. First we didn't put in an oven. By that I mean we got it there, (we weren't supposed to. It was supposed to have been delivered) We hooked up the gas. Then we saw it didn't have a power cord. We cut off the one from the old oven, and then fixed it up. When we plugged it in, the display wouldn't turn on. Great. Eventually they decided to have us stick the old oven back in, and to have them send them a new oven. So then we cut the old oven's cord off the new oven and stuck it back on the old oven and reconected it. That was fun. And totally unproductive. Then we went to another person's house. The guy I work for did/doing (it's pretty much done now.) a kitchen for them. I think the first time I worked with there was actually my first time working for him. We did a couple little things. The person who lives there will not take no for an answer when it comes to food almost. She was always like, here, you should eat this. or, here, you should have some soda. And she always has a lot of chocolate. So that's cool. They're really nice. Then, on the way home, we were driving behind a bus, who was going at the speed limit (or maybe like, on mile slower) and then there was this guy behind us, who was like HONK HONK HOOOOONK. HONK HONK HOOOOONK. So I was like, either he's mad at us, or his brakes just failed and he's actually using the horn for what it's supposed to be used for... Then we stopped at a light, and he did too. So there went my 'theory' (I knew he was just mad. but they way he was honking almost sounded like he was having trouble...) Then, after a bit, he passed us as soon as he could. Then when we met up at another stop light, we were turning and he wasn't, so we went by each other. He rolled down his window and started swearing at us. Like, really, really badly. It was terrible. He really had absolutely no reason to be mad at us... Sigh, I don't get people...
Okay. That's my stories. So that's hip. so..... Ta-ta! Toodles! Bye! G'bye! (I had to make up for my not posting by saying more good byes... Or something? yeah, I dunno.)
