Dissectin'
So today I actually got around to starting my dissections. Today I did an earthworm, and a crayfish. The earthworm was kinda annoying, cuz it was kinda small... but the crayfish was fun. My favorite part of the dissectin' was removing the pericardial sinus from the crayfish. I didn't really need to, but I did. it was purty cool... If you were wondering what that is, it is the cavity that contains the heart, as the crayfish has an open circulatory system, meaning it is always internally bleeding, to put it simply. so that was what I did. tomorrow I think I'll do a fish... and something that's optional... maybe the starfish, 'cuz that sounds cool. Well, bye for now then!

If I were you, I wouldn't do a starfish/sea star. From what we did with them in our Biology class, it wasn't very interesting. The skin stuff was really hard to cut and you couldn't see very much stuff once you did cut it open.
Yeah, the skin is probably tough... I would probably have a lot of trouble with it, seeing as I had trouble cutting into the fish...
